Consultation and Treatment

The initial consultation involves asking for information on your presenting condition, present health, past medical history and family medical history.

Diagnosis involves looking at the tongue, taking the pulse and palpation.

Course of treatment

Patients usually initially have four to six weekly sessions and then the course of treatment is reviewed.  Once the condition starts to improve, treatments will be less frequent.  For acute problems, fewer sessions may be needed, where as chronic conditions may need a longer course of treatment.
